I took some good insights from the book:

- To distinguish yourself, get noticed, and advance your career, you need to do and be more. You have to rise above average. You can do this by asking more of yourself than others ask, expecting more from yourself than others expect, believing more in yourself than others believe, doing more than others think you should have to do, giving more than others think you should give, and helping more than others think you should help

Outstanding!

This book goes down in history as one of my top 5 favorite books of all time! I cannot wait to read more from John Maxwell. This is only my second book I've read by him, but I am hooked! One thing he really touched on was the value of EVALUATED experience. If you go through something and never learn from it, then it doesn't truly teach you. To grow, you must learn from your mistakes and setbacks.
